The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) is home to two nationally recognized museum galleries that are open to the public: the Brooks Stevens Gallery and the Frederick Layton Gallery. MIAD also hosts several auxiliary gallery spaces on campus which generally feature student work.

Other campus galleries

Wallway Gallery

The Wallway Gallery features sculptural works and is located on MIAD’s first floor near the Sculpture Lab. The gallery is managed by Will Pergl (willpergl@miad.edu).

Perspectives Gallery

The Perspectives Gallery is a contemporary photography gallery located in room 299. The gallery is managed by Grant Gill (grantgill@miad.edu) and Jon Horvath (jonhorvath@miad.edu).

Illustration and Communication Design Alumni Gallery

The Illustration and Communication Design Alumni Gallery showcases work by MIAD alumni of the two majors. It is located on the fourth floor near the elevators.
