MIAD announces Art Education Minor

MIAD’s new Art Education minor, offered in partnership with Alverno College, gives students new ways to turn their creative practice into opportunities for others.

Explore pathways toward careers in K-12 art education, museum and gallery education, community arts, teaching and arts administration—all while continuing to develop your own studio practice at MIAD.

And for students who want to become licensed art teachers, the minor creates a pathway toward Wisconsin teacher licensure through Alverno College.
